Perth Youth Orchestra said farewell to its senior players this evening – in the second of our two Autumn Concerts. Thank you to our soloists, Lorna Rae, Calista Donald and George Croudace – and to Belle Davidson – whose harp interlude, Sea Rapture, painted so many beautiful images in our minds, continuing undisturbed during the dramatic moments of a stage blackout. Thanks to our leaders who helped sustain us throughout these pandemic days, Zosia Stanton and Lily Roy. We wish all our seniors well – and hope that you will continue to delight audiences with your playing for many years to come.
Meanwhile – here is our Edinburgh Concert, in Greyfriars Kirk, for those who missed it – or for those who would simply like to hear it again.
